We are waiting on permission from the surviving spouse and the estate attorney to act. Horses need medical attention and to be moved as they only have enough hay to last to the beginning of February. This will be a huge undertaking and we will need help. We are trying to plan the move for next weekend, en masse to a staging area so that accessibility for trailers will be easy. At this time we expect to need volunteers and experienced ground crew to facilitate the move and on the receiving end, nearby in PA, supplies-hay, feed, leadlines, grooming tools, blankets, antibiotics, trailering, vet care and a lot of money to care for them till placed! There are over 50 horses in this herd, so homes will be needed, permanent or foster. Many have never been touched, are not halter broke and have injuries. Most are not registerable, as they have been living in groups including young males, and some may be in foal. 8/2011 Hurricane Irene Hits NJ!

Between the damage of Hurricane Irene and the number of horses we have been carrying for the last 4 years we are no longer accepting owner surrenders at this time! You can send your information to Jen at jenrayu@comcast.net who will put you on a waiting list. She can advise you of the wait time. We can only accommodate so many horses at a time, both physically and financially. Thank you for your understanding.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3a organization that  was founded by Terry Figueroa, with its primary mission being to rescue Arabian horses in need.

In addition to Arabians, ARM has helped many other breeds as well.  Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and find loving, permanent homes for them.

Our secondary mission is educating people in the responsibility, commitment and knowledge which can provide them with the tools necessary to offer nurturing, healthy environments for their horses.

 We are of the belief that every horse deserves a caring, responsible, educated owner; and every person deserves the chance at owning one of God's most dignified and gracious creatures.
